Book Reading

March 1 @ 8:00 am - March 31 @ 5:00 pm

  • « ONLINE GIFT STORE Opening in February
  • Black Tie Event planned for May 20, 2021 »

Wanting to get out of the house and read a good book this winter?  Ninepipes Museum will sponsor a Book Chat starting in March.  We will divide the book into 4 parts and have questions to discuss over 4 weeks.  If you don’t like answering the questions just come to enjoy conversation about the book! This year we have the choice of two books and everyone can vote for which book they prefer before we announce the title.

May is a short and simple book written about May Hutton, who became a prospector along with her husband in Idaho.  The author wrote it as if May was writing in her journal.  A good rags to riches story.

You are My Sunshine is written by Stanley Gordon West and is about a multi generational rancher Abraham Rockhammer and his family moving to Montana in the 1850’s.  Stanley Gordon West is a Montana author known  to develop

strong characters in his books and You are My Sunshine is no exception.  One of his books was made into a CBS motion picture.

We will also discuss what day of the week, times, and place to meet works for everyone. Call Donna at 406 676 2837 or email cheffdonna@gmail.com if interested.
